Supporting Mental Health in Greater Moncton

2023 Annual Raise the Roof Campaign
A Dignified Living Space Enhancing the Well-Being and Comfort of Adults Living with Mental Illness

This year’s Annual Raise the Roof Campaign is focused on residents’ comfort under the roof by prioritizing their comfort and well-being. We aim to raise $110,500 for several upgrades at our residences. Specifically, we plan to:

• Replace fifteen sets of mattresses
• Upgrade furniture & appliances
• Purchase a mattress steam cleaner and floor buffer to maintain the cleanliness and longevity of mattresses and floors
• Install an accessible entryway at our Church Residence.

Comfort plays a crucial role in our residents’ mood, anxiety, and depression, and your donation can help them stay focused on their wellness journey. With your support, as a not-for-profit organization, we can continue to provide a compassionate alternative to institutionalization for adults with mental illness, promoting independence.

Together, we can ensure that adults with mental illness have a home that offers hope, help, and healing, keeping them connected and included in their community. We appreciate and thank you for any contribution you can make to help us achieve our goal.

Your support will help prevent adults struggling with mental illness from being passed between the mental health and criminal systems or ending up homeless on the street. Our homes give adults living with mental illness residential stability, flexible support services, and family/sense of belonging. By providing stable homes and providing 24 hr. care and support we can minimize hospitalization and dependence on emergency room admissions for mental health issues for people in our care. Residents in transition are given help to rebuild their confidence and their skills to reintegrate into society and live more independently.
